In order for the Havelock North Rugby Club to meet its obligations under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 ("the Act") only authorised customers (being club members and their guests, or a member of another club with reciprocal visiting rights to Havelock North Rugby Club) may be served alcohol at the Havelock North Rugby Club bar.. Authorised customers do NOT include the general public. Bar staff must know who they are serving to ensure they are not breaching the Act.
Havelock North Rugby Club members are defined as being a person who has expressly agreed in writing to comply with the club rules and is recognised as a member of the club by those rules. Bar staff must sight a current Havelock North Rugby Club membership card or a membership card for a club with reciprocal visiting rights. Any guest of a Havelock North Rugby Club member must be accompanied by the sponsoring member at all times and must leave the premises when the member leaves. All guests must sign in upon entry to the clubrooms.
Non-playing membership has a small fee associated with the registration. Upon completion of your membership registration, you will receive your electronic membership card. Please save this to your phone or print a copy and bring this with you to the clubrooms. You will be required to produce this in order to purchase from the clubrooms bar.
